He’ll show you how visually telling stories without using dialogue can help build characters with well-defined brightness and shadows – which easily convey a range of emotions. The session will also touch upon the fundamentals of the lighting tool Katana and the workflow associated with it.

About the speaker:
Subhash Chandran V. R. is a trainer at Technicolor Creative Studios Academy with more than 15 years of experience in the visual effects, advertising, and animation sectors.This experience enabled him to work as a generalist in the VFX field for a short time before deciding to pursue a career in lighting. As a lighting supervisor, he worked on films such as The White Tiger, 100, Ambulance, Sweet Girl, and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. In 2006, his digital creations were picked up by Ballistic Publishing and 3DM3, giving him the confidence to work in the creative field. He is also highly inspired to create paintings through both traditional and digital methods. As a professional, he enjoys learning new tools and techniques that may enhance his capabilities.
