Ron Edwards, Global Head of Commercial Development, L&D

Ron is an award-winning pioneer in applying digital innovation in Learning and Development with 30 years of global experience.   

He’s led the digital transformation of Technicolor Creative Studios Academy to a virtual delivery model and is continuing to scale the team and infrastructure with outstanding results. The Academy consists of more than 20 VFX and Animation courses delivered around the world to 2,000+ students per year wanting to jump start their career and become production ready.

Jonathan McFall, Texture Trainer at Technicolor Creative Studios Academy

Jonathan McFall is a Texture Trainer at Technicolor Creative Studios Academy with over 15 years of experience. His expertise in various software and techniques enable him to teach the necessary skills to work as a Texture artist, including how to match an asset 100% and how to texture digi-doubles.

Jonathan is also knowledgeable in other areas, including Modelling, Look Dev, and Lighting, and also uses Mari, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Nuke, Katana, Maya, Renderman and Arnold. If you have questions about these areas or our courses, please feel free to ask during the session or the Recruitment Fair.

Ed Ware, Executive Talent Specialist, Film Episodic VFX at MPC

Having started a career in Broadcast / Film Post-Production, Ed is now a VFX/CG focused recruitment professional with more than 20+ years of experience working in Film, Episodic, Advertising, Post-Production, and Broadcast TV recruiting senior talent across the VFX, Animation & Visualisation industries.

Ed is excited to talk with senior-level artists who are keen to pursue a new role at MPC (London, Montreal & Toronto) with the intent to take their careers and skillsets to the next level, working on large-scale projects with teams to help craft and create magical VFX experiences for audiences globally. “If you’re a CG / VFX Supervisor, Head of Department, or Senior VFX Producer, let’s chat!”

Arnaud Chaumat, Talent Acquisition Partner

Coming from film sets as an Assistant Director, a Production Assistant and a Casting Director, Arnaud wanted a new challenge and turned to post-production. He’s now a recruiter for MPC and The Mill Paris.

Arnaud is looking forward to speaking with artists who specialize in Motion Design, FX, Groom, Environments, Compositing, Rigging, Crowd, and 3D Generalists.

Estelle Ducarteron, Lead Talent Acquisition & Outreach Specialist at Mikros Animation

After working in various positions within the Mikros Animation studio teams which allowed her to understand the stakes and challenges of making international 3D animated feature films, Estelle has dedicated herself for the past 7 years to recruiting artists within all the projects’ pipeline.

Involved in the creation of teams on more than 10 feature films, TV series and long form episodic projects for the studios in France and Canada, she is now dedicated to building the European teams of tomorrow, accompanied by her wonderful team of recruiters, Camila Oviedo, Marc Cherruau & Floraya Marlin.
